Job summary

Gwinnett Retirement System is seeking a Retirement Specialist to maintain payroll processes and assist with retiree benefits. You will manage deadlines for retiree and LTD payrolls and support the Lead Financial Systems Specialist and staff.

Required 3 years of payroll/HR/admin experience with strong math, reporting, and communication skills. Knowledge of PeopleSoft, Outlook, and MS Office is essential for daily tasks.

Qualifications

• HS Diploma or GED required; Bachelor's preferred.
• Minimum 3 years payroll, HR, admin, and/or accounting experience.
• Strong proficiency with Outlook, PeopleSoft, and MS Office applications.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Gwinnett Retirement System payroll processes and deadlines.
• Process payroll actions and keep participant data accurate.
• Audit reports and coordinate with vendors on benefits.
• Answer inquiries via phone, mail, and email; support staff.
