Job summary

Gwinnett County Public Schools seeks a seasoned professional to manage the pension fund financial systems in compliance with GAAP and GA laws. You will coordinate annual audits, oversee the PeopleSoft general ledger and custodial accounts, and supervise Retirement Services staff.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a related field is required.
Five years of progressively responsible experience in public investment and financial management.
Experience with PeopleSoft and financial systems preferred.
Supervisory experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Manage the pension fund financial systems in line with GAAP and regulatory requirements.
Coordinate annual financial and compliance audits by independent firms.
Oversee PeopleSoft general ledger and custodial bank accounts.
Provide supervision of Retirement Services staff.
Monitor cash flows for disbursement of benefits and expenditures.
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and year-end entries.
