Job summary

The Charles Schwab Corporation is seeking a Specialist within Plan Administration & Implementation (PAI) to accurately execute high volumes of incoming documents, research activity, and manage relationships with internal partners. You will ensure compliance with ERISA law and support RMD-related processes for retirement plans.

Ideal candidates will have strong Excel skills, exceptional attention to detail, and the ability to multi-task while communicating professionally across departments.

The goal of Plan Administration & Implementation (PAI) is to meet the needs of Retirement Plan Services by providing the best client service possible as it relates to the recordkeeping aspects of Defined Contribution Retirement Plans. As a Specialist within PAI, you will be responsible for accurately executing high volumes of incoming documents, researching activity, managing relationships with internal business partners, and ensuring absolute compliance with all regulatory requirements of ERISA Law. This group is responsible for supporting transactions that are triggered by the death or divorce of a client.

You will be expected to meet client expectations by managing volumes of incoming of work, researching large lists of data, looking for data discrepancies, driving communications to participants, ensuring rules and regulations are met regarding 'Required Minimum Distribution (RMD)' requirements, and communicating with other departments. The specialist will be responsible for meeting all deadlines required to fulfill RMDs each year and process thousands of participant elections, specifically in the last part of the year.
