Job summary

Aon Corporation is seeking a Retirement Local Practice Leader to guide the local market’s retirement initiatives from Washington DC or Baltimore MD. The role leads client engagement, market strategy, and cross-practice collaboration to deliver sustainable growth and client value.

The leader reports to Market Leaders and Regional Practice Leaders and is responsible for driving revenue, talent development, and operational excellence in the local retirement practice.

Qualifications

• 12-15 years of Retirement or Pension Experience
• ASA OR FSA Credentials

Responsibilities

• Profitably grow the Retirement business in the local market, including overseeing current client retention and growth
• Oversee acquisition of new clients and go-to-market activities in the local market, including deploying a broader retirement market plan
• Increase Aon, Wealth, and Retirement practice visibility and raise our profile in the local market
• Connect to other practices / solution lines in the local market, ensuring we present ourselves as one Aon
• Oversee the running of the business for the local market, including general operations, financial management, and delivering quality service and professional excellence
• Oversee management of colleagues, including career development, staffing clients and prospects aligned to the office, talent acquisition, and colleague engagement
• Communicate the firm’s direction, vision, and values to the local team
• Collaborate across Aon solution lines in the local market to maintain and grow office culture, as well as develop and engage colleagues
• Ensure compliance with Aon, Wealth, and Retirement policies and application of best practices
• Responsible for attaining specific target revenue growth, sales, productivity, and operational measures in the local market
• Serve as the Executive Sponsor and/or strategic lead for several clients and/or prospects
