Job summary

Growing independent wealth management firm in the Ellicott City/Columbia area, MD seeks an experienced retirement plan professional to own and grow its retirement plan practice across 401(k), cash balance, and other employer-sponsored plans in-office.

You will lead client relationships, pursue new business, meet with prospects, present solutions, and close deals while building scalable processes for plan sponsors.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of retirement plan experience preferred.
• Strong plan sponsor and plan design knowledge.
• Proactive, entrepreneurial, client-facing approach.

Responsibilities

• Take ownership of existing retirement plan relationships while expanding the practice.
• Pursue new opportunities through existing clients, firm relationships, and outside lead sources.

A $2B+ independent wealth management firm seeks an experienced retirement plan professional to take ownership of and grow its retirement plan practice across 401(k), cash balance, and other employer-sponsored plans.

What You’ll Do

• Take ownership of existing retirement plan relationships while expanding the practice
• Pursue new opportunities through existing clients, firm relationships, and outside lead sources
• Connect with prospects, set meetings, present solutions, and close new business
• Manage ongoing plan sponsor relationships and build scalable processes

What’s Offered

• $100,000–$150,000 base + up to $50,000 performance-based upside
