Job summary

Commonwealth of Massachusetts is seeking a Communications Coordinator for the Office of the State Treasurer and Receiver General. The role will support MSRB communications and outreach, maintain the website and social media, assist with video production and webinars, and help prepare retirement program materials.

The position requires an Associate degree or higher or equivalent experience, strong writing and public speaking skills, and proficiency with CMS and design tools.

• Experience with video production and CMS platforms.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and update the MSRB website and social media content in a timely manner.
• Support video production from filming to posting on web platforms.
• Coordinate in-person seminars and virtual webinars for MSERS members.
• Assist with retirement seminars and health fairs; travel statewide.
• Prepare and publish newsletters and related materials; respond to inquiries.
• Assist with board meeting materials and outreach publications.
• Support content publishing for monthly/quarterly newsletters.
• Perform other duties and travel as needed.
