Cobb County Fire and Emergency Services is seeking a Human Resources Specialist to support the Retirement team by preparing retirement packets and related correspondence for upcoming retirees. The role involves maintaining Medical and Beneficiary records in the Advantage system and assisting with data entry in an external retirement database.

Qualificações

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources Management, Industrial Organizational Psychology, Organizational Behavior, Public Administration, or related field required; supplemented by three years of progressively responsible experience in benefits, HR system administration, recruitment, test development and administration, or related field.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare retirement packets and related correspondence for upcoming retirees.
• Maintain and update Medical (M) and Beneficiary (B) records in the Advantage system.
• Assist with data entry in an external retirement database and contact retirees or vested employees to obtain missing information or resolve pending benefit actions.
• Provide guidance and support to departmental managers and County employees on HR policies and procedures.
• Coordinate work with HR staff and ensure accuracy, timeliness, and confidentiality of retirement-related processes.
