Teachers Retirement System of Georgia seeks an Outreach Event & Retirement Specialist to educate TRS members on retirement benefits and coordinate statewide events, both virtual and in-person. The role includes partnering with internal teams and external partners to deliver impactful outreach throughout Georgia.

The position focuses on presenting pension options, coordinating workshops, and engaging with employers and educational institutions to maximize participation and learning outcomes.

Qualificações

• Public speaking and one-on-one conversation skills with ability to build rapport.
• Experience in retirement planning, benefits counseling, finance, banking, or customer service preferred.
• Experience in personnel and project management preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Coordinate outreach workshops statewide with the RESA-based model and ensure workshop availability.
• Schedule online registration and beneficiary designation events to boost participation.
• Present TRS benefits at workshops, colleges, and other venues to educate members.
• Engage with employers to schedule and market events and maintain registrations.
• Manage travel logistics and report expenses in a timely manner.
• Maintain knowledge of TRS operations, policies, and required member documentation.
• Assist in developing presentations and events that benefit TRS members.
