Job summary

Yale New Haven Health is seeking a Retirement Benefits Specialist to provide technical and analytical support for pension and retirement benefit programs across the organization. You will maintain pension administration data, generate reports, and collaborate with actuaries, auditors and payroll staff to ensure regulatory compliance.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in a related field and 5–7 years of HR/Benefits experience, with strong analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Business, Human Resources or related field.
• 5–7 years of experience in Human Resources and Benefits Administration.
• Familiarity with ERISA, IRS codes and retirement program administration.

Responsibilities

• Assist and collaborate in planning, coordination, administration and reporting of annual retirement programs across networks.
• Audit internal controls to ensure data integrity and reduce manual corrections.
• Maintain pension administration system data, generate reports, and coordinate system upgrades with payroll and IT staff.
• Coordinate and audit data for Form 5500 and PBGC filings; support ERISA compliance.
