Job summary

AMBA is seeking an Insurance Benefits Representative (1099 Independent Contractor) to serve retirees across Washington state. This role is self-managed with full-time effort and leverages exclusive association endorsements to drive commissions.

You will meet members virtually or in person, educate clients through consultations, seminars, and webinars, and use a consultative approach to protect health, income, and legacy.

Qualifications

• Entrepreneurial mindset and self-starter attitude.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Comfort with phone outreach and virtual appointments.
• Commitment to ethical, high-quality service.
• Licensure in Life and Health or willingness to obtain prior to onboarding.

Responsibilities

• Meet virtually or in person with association members to assess needs and recommend appropriate supplemental insurance solutions.
• Educate clients through one-on-one consultations, seminars, webinars, and group presentations.
• Utilize a consultative sales approach to assist retirees in protecting health, income, and legacy, including retirement-focused solutions like Fixed Indexed Annuities.
• Participate in ongoing training, mentorship, and business planning to continuously improve performance and results.
