Job summary

Sacramento Native American Health Center, Inc is seeking a full-time Research Assistant to support our clinical research department in retina studies. The role involves coordinating patient visits, collecting data, and assisting in ECGs and other procedures under IRB protocols.

You will work with physicians, coordinators, and sponsors to ensure protocol adherence and accurate data collection in a fast-paced, high-volume setting.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or the equivalent.
• Effective oral and written communication.
• Retinal photography experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and schedule subject visits within study/subject specific windows per protocol guidelines.
• Prepare visit-specific documentation and charts for Clinical Research Coordinator.
• Observe Coordinator in patient care and management.
• Assist Coordinator in monitoring subject flow and assist in subject care and management.
• Observe, assist, collect and record all necessary data for follow up.
• Transcribe subject study information from source documents to the Electronic Case Report Forms.
