Job summary

IKEA in East Palo Alto, CA is seeking a Warehouse Associate to support order fulfillment and replenishment across multiple channels. You will receive inbound goods, maintain inventory accuracy, and move products to selling locations while adhering to merchandising guidance.

The role involves stocking, picking, loading, and operating scanners and IT systems. A forklift or similar certification is preferred, with a flexible, part-time hourly schedule.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in high volume warehouse or receiving/replenishment.
• Physical Demands: Lifting, Pushing/Pulling, Sliding/Transferring and Carrying up to 50 lbs.
• Certification in at least one power mobile equipment (forklift, electric pallet jack) preferred.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

Contributing to the fulfillment of customer orders in different sales channels in the retail store by ensuring an efficiently executed product availability and replenishment process.

• Receiving inbound goods and ensures inventory accuracy at point of receiving.
• Moving product to final selling location (in storage or on the floor in all areas).
• Performing sales space replenishment with flexibility and according to visual merchandising guidance.
• Pick and preparing customer orders within the agreed timeframe to secure an excellent customer experience.
• Handling goods (unloading, transporting, replenishing, stocking in, stocking out, picking, loading).
• Operating scanner equipment and inventory management tools including IT systems
• Certifying all powered mobile equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks

JOB TYPE: Permanent, Part-time, Hourly Associate

HOURS: From 20-33 hours per week (HL2) // Benefits Eligible

SHIFTS: Fully open work schedule availability including evenings and weekends required; Work schedules are published one month in advance.

DEPT: Outflow // Fulfillment // Full Serve

The hourly pay range for this role is $24.72/hr - $33.19/hr.
