Gardner White is seeking a dedicated Housekeeping Associate to maintain cleanliness and organization across our retail and warehouse spaces. You will help create a safe, welcoming shopping environment for customers and staff.

The role emphasizes physical stamina, attention to detail, and adherence to safety procedures while performing cleaning tasks and restocking supplies as needed. Part-time hours based on business needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required or may be substituted by experience.
• Experience in housekeeping or janitorial services is preferred but not required.
• Knowledge of safety procedures related to cleaning chemicals is a plus.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills for interacting with customers and colleagues.
• Understanding of PPE and safety practices for cleaning tasks.

Responsibilities

• Clean and maintain retail and warehouse areas, including floors, surfaces, restrooms, and seating areas.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and scrub floors, focusing on high-traffic zones.
• Dust and wipe surfaces, fixtures, and displays to keep areas tidy.
• Sanitize restrooms and replenish supplies as needed.
• Empty trash and recycling, dispose of waste, and replace liners.
• Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and restroom amenities.
• Follow safety procedures for handling cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
