Job summary

IKEA in College Park, MD is hiring a part-time warehouse associate to support order fulfillment, inventory accuracy, and replenishment across sales channels.

You will receive inbound goods, move products, stock shelves, pick and prepare customer orders, operate scanners and forklifts, and follow visual merchandising guidance.

This hourly, permanent role offers benefits, flexible shifts, and a chance to contribute to the IKEA customer experience while working with a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 2 years of experience in high-volume warehouse or receiving/replenishment.
• Physical demands: lifting, pulling/pushing, moving up to 50 lbs.
• Power mobile equipment certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Receive inbound goods and ensure inventory accuracy at receiving.
• Move products to final locations in storage or on the floor.
• Replenish sales space per visual merchandising guidance.
• Pick and prepare customer orders within the required timeframe.
• Handle goods: unload, transport, replenish, stocking in/out, picking.
• Operate scanner and inventory IT systems.
• Certify powered mobile equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks).

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING DAY TO DAY

\"Contributing to the fulfillment of customer orders in different sales channels in the retail store by ensuring an efficiently executed product availability and replenishment process.\"

• Receiving inbound goods and ensures inventory accuracy at point of receiving.
• Moving product to final selling location (in storage or on the floor in all areas).
• Performing sales space replenishment with flexibility and according to visual merchandising guidance.
• Pick and preparing customer orders within the agreed timeframe to secure an excellent customer experience.
• Handling goods (unloading, transporting, replenishing, stocking in, stocking out, picking, loading).
• Operating scanner equipment and inventory management tools including IT systems
• Certifying all powered mobile equipment including forklifts and pallet jacks

The pay range for this role is $23.23 to $32.82
