Volt is immediately hiring for a Warehouse Associate in Fort Collins, CO

Position : Retail Warehouse Associate

Pay : $17 / hr

Schedule : 6 AM - 2 : 45 PM M-F

We are looking for a Retail Warehouse Associate to assist customers, help pull customer orders, maintain inventory, and maintain a clean and safe warehouse. Your main job will be to prepare and fulfill orders fast and correctly so we can provide high-quality customer service. The successful candidate will display exceptional customer service, strong computer skill, be conscientious, show attention to detail and an ability to work in a fast paced team environment. Prior lumber and forklift background helpful. Some physical strength is required since you may often need to lift lumber by hand and you should be able to lift up to 50lb repeatedly. Saturday schedule required.

Responsibilities :

• Demonstrate exceptional customer service, both in person and over the phone, while helping customers with their orders
• Load and unload lumber
• Organize stock in the most efficient way using forklifts, pallets, etc.
• Receive and check incoming pick tickets
• Pull material to fulfil orders properly
• Wrap orders and place them on trucks or in customer's vehicle for delivery
• Monitor inventory levels and suggest new orders when needed
• Document orders, materials and any stock movements

Skills

• Proven experience as a Warehouse Associate, Material Handler or similar position
• Customer Service expertise
• Experience in using warehouse equipment (e.g. forklifts)
• Dexterity and attention to detail
• Organizational skills
• Ability to meet the physical demands of the job
• License to operate forklifts
• Availability to occasionally work overtime
• Availability to work a schedule that includes Saturdays
• Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on several factors, including the candidate's education, work experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications, etc.
