Warehouse Operations is responsible for performing and controlling a combination of manual or automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, and shipment of products. This includes receiving, picking, packing, shipping, staging, transporting, storage, and delivery, ensuring the efficient flow of products from receipt to shipment to internal and external customers.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
- Comfort working at heights of 20-30 ft regularly
- Ability to bend, reach, stoop, lift, and stand for the entire shift
- Ability to follow directions and adapt to changing priorities
- Good verbal and written communication skills
- Experience with technologies like computers or point of sale systems is a plus
- Follow established Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to process orders accurately, including picking, quality checks, sorting, consolidating freight, pallet building, packing, and preparing orders for shipment
- Participate in cross-training and projects as assigned by management
- Maintain a clean work environment, perform housekeeping and inventory control tasks, and comply with all safety and environmental requirements
- Apply acquired knowledge and skills to complete standard tasks and learn new methods
- Maintain necessary licenses, training, and certifications
- Handle routine assignments with some problem resolution, following standard procedures and quality guidelines
- Work under moderate supervision with regular review of output, referring complex issues to supervisors
