Qualifications

• Read and write Spanish/English; interact with the public and co-workers.
• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, pricing codes, shelf tags, short correspondence, and memos.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information to customers and employees.
• Apply common sense to carry out written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist in proper maintenance of the store, particularly in the Produce Department.
• Bag groceries for customers and carry them when requested.
• Maintain and retrieve store carts, run price checks, assist with go-backs, check stand upkeep, and remove waste from parking area.
• Perform regular lifting up to 25, 45, or 60 pounds as required.
• Keep the store clean and safe at all times.
