Job summary

EDENS is seeking a Tenant Construction Manager to drive landlord and tenant design, permitting and construction processes across Southern California, ensuring best possible rent commencement dates for projects.

The role reports to the VP of TCM and requires regular travel between the Los Angeles and San Diego markets to support business needs, maintain relationships, and oversee activities in both markets.

Qualifications

• At least 7-10 years of tenant construction management experience in commercial real estate with an emphasis on retail real estate is required.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate timely and accurate completion of LOI/lease exhibit requests (budgets, schedules, work letters, LODs).
• Identify and manage contact with Tenant’s representative; review status on site and from Lease Execution to Delivery of Possession.
• Process budget and plan review requests from Leasing and review with Construction, ensuring scope matches Lease requirements.
• Complete Vacant Space Assessments and oversee space LOD completion.
• Review lease sections to ensure Landlord meets all Lease responsibilities.
• Attend weekly/bi-weekly meetings with Construction, Leasing, and Property Management.
