Associated Supermarket Group (ASG) has an opportunity for a Retail Technology & Store Operations Specialist to train store personnel on price change best practices, iPad usage, Instacart, and card processing onboarding across NY, NJ, PA field locations.

You will review Unbillable reports with store managers, create PowerPoint reports for Special Pricing Projects, and assist during new store openings to ensure timely readiness and implementation of ASG programs.

Qualifications

• Must train store personnel on price change best practices and onboarding.
• Experience with Salesforce, POS systems, and loyalty programs.
• Ability to create PowerPoint reports for pricing projects.
• Willingness to travel to field locations NY/NJ/PA.

Responsibilities

• Contact owners to set up training classes for price change best practices and onboarding.
• Gather store information and maintain Salesforce records.
• Assist with new store openings, including back scanning and POS item setup.
• Check price accuracy against circular before store openings.
• Identify discontinued shelf labels and liaise with POS providers for download issues.
• Explain price change timelines and shelf label reading.
• Teach owners how to read shelf labels and distinguish new items vs price changes.

Associated Supermarket Group (ASG) has an excellent opportunity for a Retail Technology & Store Operations Specialist to review best practices with store managers/owners on maintaining Price Changes/Downloads. The Retail Technology & Store Operations Specialist visits stores to go over the Unbillable report (items they are trying to order that no longer exist). Create power point reports for "Special Pricing Projects." Retail Technology & Store Operations Specialist will assist with training store personnel during new store opening to assure the store is ready to open on time. This person will also assist in assuring the stores follow all the new ASG programs the owners have opted into.

Type: Full-time/Exempt

Location: NY, NJ, PA - field.

Duties and responsibilities:

• Contact owners to set up training classes with store personnel for price change best practices, iPad, OTC, Instacart, App Card, in addition to credit card processing onboarding.
• Gather store information/maintain Salesforce – store email, POS Provider, Credit Card Processor, e-Commerce, and Loyalty.
• New store openings – assist and train with back scanning/adding in items into POS prior to opening. Assist with hanging signs & shelf tags. Make sure systems are tested – Credit Cards, EBT, OTC, Meat/Deli Scales network file updates.
• Check all sales items against circular to ensure price accuracy prior to store opening.
• If the store is listed as a top offender on the unbillable report, go over how to identify shelf labels that are discontinued. Contact POS company with any download issues.
• Go over price change timeline – what day shelf labels and downloads arrive.
• Teach owners how to read all the items on a shelf label.
  • How to tell if it is a new item, price change, or item change.
  • Does the store hang green discontinued labels? Once the product sells through, is the store replacing the label with another product to fill the gap on the shelf?
