Job summary

Albertsons Companies, Boise, Idaho, seeks a Department Specialist to support DCs and national teams by uploading firms for GMHC sales events, generating and analyzing reports, and enabling delivery of high service to stores and customers. You will collaborate with Sales and Distribution Centers to ensure accurate data handling and timely order processing.

The role requires strong communication, proficiency with Outlook and Excel, and the ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced

Qualifications

• Customer service and/or retail experience preferred.
• Strong reading, writing and math skills with clear communication.
• Proficiency in Outlook and Excel for reporting and tracking.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions accurately.
• Working knowledge of procurement, logistics and inventory practices is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Run daily reports and support replenishment team with data.
• Create and analyze reports for stores and distribution centers.
• Rekey mark outs as directed and upload ad and product distributions.
• Monitor deliveries and address discrepancies.
• Respond to customer service inquiries.
• Create rush orders for stores and release firm orders.

The Department Specialist role is uniquely critical as it supports all DCs and our national teams: The major responsibility includes uploading all firms for our national monthly or weekly GMHC sales events. The DS also supports our Replenishment Managers and Replenishment team by enabling the delivery of a high level of service to both stores and customers. This role is responsible for generating and analyzing reports, collaborating closely with Sales and Distribution Center teams, creating firm and rush orders, and providing support across all critical functions that contribute to the overall success of the Replenishment team.

Main responsibilities:

• Run daily Out of Stock Reports each morning for Manager and team.
• Creating and analyzing reports with replenishment team.
• Rekey mark outs from the night before, as directed.
• Upload all advertisement distributions.
• Upload all product distributions.
• Monitoring Deliveries and following up on any discrepancies.
• Respond to any customer service inquiries.
• Creating rush orders for Stores as needed.
• Creating and releasing firm orders.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

• Customer Service and/or retail experience a plus
• Reading, writing, math and communication skills at a proficient level, verbal and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook and Excel
• Ability to follow verbal and/or written instruction.
• Working knowledge of procurement, logistics and inventory management practices a plus.
• Ability to concentrate and deal with frequent interruptions

PHYSICAL ENVIRONMENT:

• Some work to be performed in a temperature-controlled environment (office).
• Bending, stooping and pivoting required periodically.
• Spends long periods of time at desk or computer terminal.
• Incumbent may use computers, keyboards, telephone, and other office equipment in the course of normal workday.
• Stooping, bending, twisting, and reaching may be required in completion of job duties.
• Workday is fast paced.
