Job summary

Verizon is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Associate. You will drive sales in a retail setting, using your passion for technology and customer service to connect with customers, uncover needs, and present complete solutions.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED required.
At least 1 year of relevant sales or customer service experience.
Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays with schedule planned four weeks in advance.
Open to additional shifts and higher income during peak periods.
Experience in a commission-based environment and strong sales communication is a plus.

Responsibilities

Generate retail sales by leveraging technology and customer service to grow the Verizon network.
Identify customer needs by asking questions and building connections.
Present product insights and recommend complete top-down solutions.
Close sales using effective communication to meet customer needs.
Participate in ongoing training and develop skills in merchandising and inventory.
Prospect additional customers through outreach and community events.
