Job summary

Verizon is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Associate to join our on-site team. You’ll drive sales by connecting customers with the latest tech, uncover needs, and deliver complete solutions.

Expect ongoing training and opportunities to grow your customer base through outreach and community events. You’ll earn a base hourly wage plus commissions, with strong earning potential tied to sales performance and geography.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One or more years of work experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Open to taking additional shifts to increase earnings.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using your passion for technology and customer service to expand Verizon’s network.
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
• Present product insights and recommendations to provide a complete sales solution.
• Close sales with clear communication to fulfill customer needs with simple, intuitive tech solutions.
• Continue personal development through training and up-skilling in merchandising and inventory.
• Grow your customer base by placing outbound calls and sending texts to current Verizon customers.
• Engage with the community outside the store at off-site Verizon events to expand loyalty.
