Job summary

Verizon is seeking a motivated Retail Sales Associate to join our in-store team in California. You will drive retail sales through technology passion and exceptional service while learning customers' needs and offering complete, top-down solutions.

The role offers training, career growth, and community engagement through events. Base pay ranges from $16.00 to $21.00/hour with potential annual commissions up to $18,000, plus additional performance-based incentives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One or more years of relevant experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Spanish bilingual preferred.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using passion for technology and customer service to expand Verizon network.
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
• Position product insights and recommendations to provide customers with top-down sales solutions.
• Close sales using strong communication to fulfill customer needs with tech solutions.
• Develop yourself through training and up-skilling in merchandising and inventory.
• Possibility to grow customer base via outbound calls and texts to existing Verizon customers.
• Engage with the community outside the store at Verizon-sponsored events.
