Job summary

Verizon is hiring a full-time Retail Sales Associate to join our stores and grow with a team focused on helping customers explore cutting-edge tech and complete solutions. You’ll generate sales, learn customer needs, and present top-down recommendations, with ongoing training to advance your skills.

You’ll earn base pay of $16.00–$21.00 per hour plus commissions, with top performers able to reach substantial annual total earnings.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• One or more years of relevant experience in sales or customer service encouraged.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Openness to pick up additional shifts to maximize income.
• Commission-based sales experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using passion for technology and customer service.
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by connecting with them and asking questions.
• Position product insights and recommendations for complete tech solutions.
• Close sales with strong communication to meet customer needs.
• Develop through ongoing training and cross-functional exposure to merchandising and inventory.
• Grow customer base by outbound calls or texts to Verizon customers.
• Engage with the community at Verizon events to expand loyalty.
