Job summary

Verizon is seeking a full-time Retail Sales Associate to grow sales in one of our retail locations. You will engage customers, understand their needs, and present technology solutions to complete a top-down sales approach.

You’ll earn base pay of $16.00–$21.00 per hour plus up to $18,000 in annual commissions, with potential total earnings between $65,000 and $75,500+. Benefits start day one and include health and education support, plus discounts.

Qualifications

• Must have strong sales experience or willingness to learn sales in a commission-based environment.
• Proven ability to communicate with customers and uncover needs.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is required; Spanish proficiency verified by assessment.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using passion for technology and customer service to grow Verizon network.
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
• Position product insights and solutions to provide top-down sales outcomes.
• Close sales with clear communication to fulfill customer needs with simple tech solutions.
• Develop skills through ongoing training in merchandising and inventory operations.
• Possibly place outbound calls and send texts to current Verizon customers to grow base.
