Verizon is seeking a full-time Retail Sales Associate in Maryland to grow your career while delivering cutting-edge tech solutions and outstanding customer service in a Verizon store.

You’ll learn customer needs, present top-down product recommendations, close sales, and participate in ongoing training. This onsite role includes evening/weekend hours, commission opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits package starting day one.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One or more years of relevant experience demonstrated through work or military experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (schedule known four weeks in advance).
• Openness to pick up additional shifts to earn more income, typically during peak periods.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using your passion for cutting-edge technology and exceptional customer service.
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
• Position product insights and recommendations to provide customers with a complete solution.
• Close sales by using communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple tech solutions.
• Develop yourself through ongoing training and up-skill across merchandising and inventory.
• Possibly reach out to current Verizon customers via calls/texts to grow the base.
• Engage with the community at Verizon events to expand loyalty.
