Job summary

Verizon is seeking a full-time Retail Sales Associate to grow your career in a fast-paced store environment. You will generate retail sales through a passion for cutting-edge technology and exceptional customer service, while learning to uncover customers' needs and recommending top-down solutions.

You will close sales using strong communication skills and continuously develop through training in merchandising and inventory.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• One or more years of relevant experience required, demonstrated through work experience and/or military experience.
• Willingness to work evenings, weekends, and holidays (you'll know your schedule four weeks in advance).
• Openness to pick up additional shifts and earn more income, typically during the summer months, November through December, and/or during peak vacation periods.

Responsibilities

• Generate retail sales by using your passion for cutting-edge technology and exceptional customer service.
• Learn and uncover customers' needs by creating connections and asking the right questions.
• Position product insights and solution recommendations to provide customers with a complete top-down sales solution.
• Close sales by using communication skills to fulfill customer needs with simple and intuitive tech solutions.
• Continuously develop yourself through ongoing training and up-skill in merchandising and inventory.
• Grow your customer base by outbound calls and texts to current Verizon customers interested in our products and services.
• Engage with the community outside the store at Verizon-sponsored events.
