Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking a Team Member to interact with customers and fellow teammates, supporting selling initiatives and completing tasks to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience.

You will be available, flexible and service-oriented, handling duties from cash register operation to merchandising, loading purchases, and maintaining poultry areas. Prior experience is not required, but strong communication and a willingness to learn are essential.

Qualifications

• No experience required; retail, farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge strongly preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required; ability to read, write and count accurately.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work varied hours, including nights, weekends and overtime.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service through GURA: Greet, uncover needs, recommend solutions, add value, thank the customer.
• Operate cash register and handle cash following procedures.
• Recover merchandise and participate in freight process.
• Complete Plan-o-gram procedures and merchandise/stock.
• Assemble merchandise and perform janitorial duties.
• Execute price changes/markdowns and operate forklift/baler if age allows.
• Assist customers with loading purchases and ensure a Legendary shopping experience.
• Ensure birds/poultry safety and sanitation in holding tanks.
