Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking a Team Member to greet customers, assist with product selection, and support store operations. You will handle transactions, stock, and merchandising while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience. No experience required, though retail or farming knowledge is preferred.

Team Members must be flexible with shifts, including weekends and overtime, and maintain a safe store environment, including poultry care responsibilities where applicable.

Qualifications

• No experience required; retail knowledge or farming/petting/welding background is a plus.
• Ability to read, write and count clearly.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Good interpersonal skills and the ability to resolve issues ethically with minimal conflict.
• Basic computer skills and comfort using a POS system.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and uncover needs; recommend product solutions and add value.
• Operate cash register and follow cash handling procedures.
• Maintain merchandising plans, stock, and floor recovery.
• Assist customers with loading purchases and perform safety duties.
• Ensure a Legendary Customer Experience and safe handling of birds/poultry.
