Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking Team Members to interact with customers and teammates, delivering a Legendary Customer Experience while supporting selling initiatives.

You will handle daily store duties, operate the POS system, manage merchandising and stock, assist customers with loading purchases, and follow safety protocols. Training covers safety, equipment operation, and propane dispensing where applicable.

Qualifications

• No experience required; retail, farming, pet/equine knowledge preferred.
• Must be able to read, write and count accurately.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work varied shifts including nights, weekends and overtime as required.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service using GURA: Greet, Understand needs, Recommend, Add value, Appreciate.
• Operate cash register and follow cash handling procedures.
• Recover merchandise and participate in mandatory freight process.
• Complete Plan-o-gram procedures and merchandising tasks.
• Assemble merchandise and perform janitorial duties.
• Execute price changes/markdowns and operate forklift (where age appropriate).
• Assist customers with loading purchases and ensure a Legendary shopping experience.
• Safe handling of birds/poultry and maintain poultry holding areas.
• Complete all documentation for duties.
