Qualifications

• No experience required; retail or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred; must be able to read, write and count accurately.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically with minimal conflict.
• Ability to read, write, and count accurately.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Greet customers and uncover their needs and wants.
• Recommend product solutions and add value for customers.
• Operate cash register following cash handling procedures.
• Perform merchandising, stocking and plan-o-gram duties.
• Assemble and stock merchandise, load purchases for customers.
• Perform janitorial duties and execute price changes/markdowns.
• Operate equipment (forklift, baler) as allowed by age and training.
• Complete all documentation for duties and other tasks as assigned.
