Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is seeking a Team Member to engage customers and fellow team members while supporting selling initiatives and performing assigned tasks to deliver a Legendary Customer Experience.

You may participate in a variety of duties such as operating the register, stocking and merchandising, loading purchases, and maintaining safety and cleanliness throughout the store. The role involves flexible hours and may include duties related to poultry care as needed.

Qualifications

• No experience required; retail experience and/or farming, ranching, pet/equine, or welding knowledge is strongly preferred.
• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred, but not required; read, write and count accurately.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to resolve issues ethically and with minimal conflict.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work scheduled shifts and have the ability to work varied hours, days, nights, weekends and overtime as dictated by business needs.
• Operate cash register/computer following cash handling procedures as established by Tractor Supply Company.
• Recovery of merchandise and participate in mandatory freight process.
• Complete Plan-o-gram procedures (merchandising, sets, and resets).
• Assemble merchandise and perform janitorial duties.
• Execute price changes/markdowns and operate forklift/baler if applicable.
• Assist customers with loading purchases and ensure a Legendary shopping experience.
• Ensure the safety and well-being of birds and sanitize poultry holding areas.
