Job summary

Tractor Supply Company is hiring Team Members to interact with customers and teammates, support selling initiatives, and perform assigned tasks while delivering a Legendary Customer Experience.

The role involves a wide range of duties from greeting customers, uncovering needs, recommending products, to operating cash registers and maintaining store standards. Training includes safety and animal care requirements for poultry areas.

Qualifications

• No experience required, retail or farming knowledge strongly preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred but not required; reading, writing and counting essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain regular and predictable attendance.
• Work varied hours including nights, weekends and overtime as dictated by business needs.
• Deliver Legendary Customer Service using GURA: Greet, Uncover, Recommend, Add Value, Appreciate.
• Operate cash register and follow cash handling procedures.
• Recover merchandise and participate in freight process and merchandising resets.
• Assemble merchandise and perform janitorial duties.
• Execute price changes and markdowns.
• Assist customers with loading purchases.
• Ensure a Legendary shopping experience and bird safety in poultry areas.
• Complete all required documentation for duties.
