Job summary

Goodwill of the Heartland in Clinton, IA is seeking a Retail Team Member to support customers, process donations, and operate the cash register in a fast-paced store setting.

You will help maintain a welcoming environment, assist with sorting and pricing donations, and work with the team to hit store goals. The role offers a wage of $15.15 per hour with benefits. Additional production tasks include tagging and pricing merchandise and assisting leadership to meet production targets.

Qualifications

• Ability to read and write.
• Ability to lift up to 50lbs.
• Ability to stand for long periods.
• Related work experience preferred, but not required.
• Successful completion of a sex offender background check.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding customer service.
• Process donations and operate the cash register.
• Create a welcoming environment for customers and team members.
• Handle material and assist with donations sorting and inventory on the sales floor.
• Production duties include sorting, tagging, hanging and pricing merchandise.
• For outlets, read and record weights and assist with service flow as needed.
