Job summary

Goodwill of Central Iowa is seeking friendly Retail Store Associates to accept, sort, and merchandise donated goods, cashier, and deliver outstanding customer service.

You will work on a fast-paced team, handle donations and sales on the floor and help meet daily store goals while upholding our values of love, kindness, and respect. This role requires a flexible schedule and strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to interact with the public.
• High school diploma or equivalent, or related full-time employment/military service.
• Availability to work days, evenings, and weekends; able to lift 40 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers in a courteous manner.
• Receive donations and sort merchandise for sale.
• Operate cash register and balance cash drawer as scheduled.
• Keep sales floor organized and maintain product quality standards.
• Meet daily production goals and assist with general cleaning tasks.
