Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is hiring at our Charleston West Ashley location for a friendly, customer-focused Team Member. You will assist customers on the floor, manage checkout with care, restock merchandise, and help with framing services and store operations.

This role supports omnichannel processes, including BOPIS and SFS, and requires ability to stand for long periods, lift items, and work nights/weekends as needed. Benefits and employee discounts are provided.

Qualifications

• Retail and/or customer service experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop the store.
• Ensure fast and friendly checkout experience with accurate cash handling.
• Assist with truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) maintenance.
• Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments.
• Support omni-channel processes including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in store recovery, in-stock optimization, and safety programs.
