Job summary

The Michaels Companies Inc. is seeking a Store Associate at the Charleston-West Ashley location to assist customers, wrap framing orders, and keep the store inviting and well stocked.

You will deliver friendly service, help customers find products, operate the cash register, and support Omni channel processes while upholding SOPs and company programs. This position offers benefits and opportunities in a busy retail environment.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience and experience selling products and/or services to customers.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements.
• Build relationships with customers and create Custom Framing solutions; deliver sales and production results.
• Complete framing orders with quality and on time.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other areas including SISO and Directed Replenishment.
• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop, locating products and providing solutions.
• Operate cash register and cash handling to standards.
• Assist with Omni channel processes.
