Job summary

ALDI USA is seeking enthusiastic part-time store associates, stockers and cashiers in Winchester, KY. You will merchandise and stock products, cashier, and clean to keep the store looking its best. Starting wage is $18.00 per hour with scheduled increases over time.

Training occurs at a nearby store until the new location opens. Roles include cashier duties, stocker responsibilities, and general store operations.

Qualifications

• Ability to provide prompt and courteous customer service.
• Ability to operate POS system and store equipment.
• Ability to follow ALDI policies and procedures.
• Ability to communicate effectively, verbally and in writing.
• Ability to perform basic arithmetic and accuracy with cash handling.
• Ability to work independently and with others.

Responsibilities

• Melchandise and stock products to maintain attractive shelves.
• Provide friendly, efficient checkout service.
• Clean and maintain store to company standards.
• Assist management in achieving operational efficiency and loss goals.
• Identify hazards and maintain a safe working environment.
• Arrive to work as early as 5:00am when required.
• Follow inventory procedures and shelving guidelines.
