Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Kansas is seeking a Team Leader to open/close the store, manage operations, and lead the retail team in Andover, KS. You will oversee staff, ensure sales goals are met, and uphold Goodwill's mission and standards.

The role requires strong leadership, familiarity with bookkeeping, and a valid driver’s license, with supervision from the District Manager, Store Manager & Asst. Store Manager.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent required.
• Must have full knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting to maintain sales records and reports incidental to store operations.
• One year of management experience, required.
• A valid driver’s license and insurability is required.

Responsibilities

• Complete employees’ work schedules and evaluations; counsel, hire, fire, and train employees as directed.
• Supervise sales floor; promote customer service and handle complaints.
• Receive and check stock; supervise checkouts and stock transfers; maintain displays per standards.
• Train and supervise store personnel; manage cash handling procedures daily.
• Represent Goodwill in the area served and support mission alignment.
• Maintain records of store operations and analyze sales for effectiveness.
