Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Kansas is seeking a Team Leader to open and close the Goodwill Retail store in Wichita, KS. You will manage and operate the store while advancing our mission and serving customers with integrity and teamwork.

Qualified candidates have a high school diploma, 1 year of management experience, and knowledge of bookkeeping. A valid driver's license and insurability are required to perform supervision, scheduling and customer service duties daily.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or the equivalent required.
• Must have full knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting to maintain sales records and reports incidental to store operations.
• One year of management experience, required.
• A valid driver's license and insurability is required.

Responsibilities

• Serves as hiring manager in the Manager and/or Assistant Manager's absence and will complete employee work schedules, evaluations and ADP as needed.
• Will handle customer complaints.
• Oversees store operation including inventory, warehouse and stock rotation per manager.
• Per manager, performs all administrative and clerical details associated with store operation and orders supplies as needed.
• Provides supervision for all sales associates, trains employees and follows cash handling procedures on a daily basis.
