Job summary

Goodwill Industries of Kansas is seeking a Key Holder to manage and operate a Garden City retail store. You will open/close the store, supervise staff, handle cash, and uphold Goodwill’s mission in daily operations.

The role requires strong bookkeeping knowledge, valid driver’s license, and a commitment to customer service and community engagement. Growth opportunities exist within district management.

Qualifications

• High school education or the equivalent required.
• Must have full knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting to maintain sales records and reports incidental to store operations.
• Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the sales floor and staff; satisfies customers and promotes events.
• Receives and checks incoming stock; supervises checkouts and stock transfers; maintains displays and signage.
• Prepares store reports, maintains cash handling procedures, and supports daily deposits.
• Represents Goodwill in the area served and supports the mission and community.
• Maintains store cleanliness, safety, and a professional appearance; ensures policy compliance.
• Must be able to work Saturdays, Sundays, and at least two weeknights.
