Job summary

Goodwill of the Heartland is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Store Manager at its Cedar Rapids, IA location. The ASM will support the Store Manager, train team members, and help maintain an inviting, well-merchandised store that delivers excellent customer service to shoppers and donors.

The role requires one year of related full-time experience, preferably with supervisory responsibilities, and availability for day, evening, and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• One year of full-time employment in a related field; supervisory experience preferred.
• Availability for day, evening, and weekend shifts.
• Background screening required: Iowa driver's license, auto insurance, motor vehicle record, and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in training team members and completing documentation.
• Provide supervision to the team in the Store Manager's absence and ensure safety.
• Lead the retail team to maintain an attractive, well-merchandised store and deliver customer service.
