Goodwill of the Heartland is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Store Manager to lead a retail team and maintain an inviting, well-merchandised store. The ASM assists the Store Manager with training, documentation, and safety, ensuring exceptional customer service for shoppers, donors, and staff.

The role requires one year of full-time experience in a related field, with supervisory experience preferred. The schedule includes day, evening, and weekend shifts with a rotating pattern.

Qualifications

• Leadership and guiding a team toward excellent customer service.
• Experience supervising staff in a retail environment preferred.
• Ability to train team members and complete required records.

Responsibilities

• Supervise the team in the absence of the Store Manager.
• Assist with training and performance documentation for team members.
• Help ensure the safety of customers and staff in-store.
• Support maintaining a clean, attractive, well-merchandised store.
