Job summary

Goodwill of the Heartland is seeking a Full-Time Assistant Store Manager in Mount Pleasant, IA. The ASM leads and supports a retail team, ensuring excellent customer service and a well‑merchandised store.

The role requires one year of related full-time experience; supervisory experience is preferred. The ASM participates in training, documentation, safety, and will supervise in the Store Manager's absence. A rotating schedule includes morning, afternoon, evening, and weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• One year of full-time employment in a related field.
• Former supervisory experience preferred.
• Availability for day, evening, and weekend shifts.
• Background screening: valid Iowa driver's license, auto insurance, motor vehicle record, and criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist Store Manager in training and supervising team members.
• Ensure safety of team and Goodwill customers.
• Maintain an attractive, neatly merchandised store at all times.
• Complete documentation and other records as required.
• Provide supervision in the absence of the Store Manager.
