Dollar Tree is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to support store operations, customer service and staff development in Willoughby, OH. You will assist with daily activities, help customers, and ensure merchandise moves smoothly from delivery to floor, while maintaining seasonal areas and store standards.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred and ability to read and explain directives.
• Store management experience in retail, grocery, or drug store environments preferred.
• Strong communication, interpersonal and written skills required.
• Ability to work in a high-energy, team environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with store functions and day-to-day activities.
• Help customers in a positive, approachable manner and address questions or concerns.
• Organize merchandise transfer from delivery to stockroom and sales floor; maintain seasonal areas.
• Perform opening and closing procedures as needed.
• Process corporate directives and communications related to store activities.
• Maintain promotional fixtures and displays for storefront effectiveness.
• Assist in ordering merchandise, processing damaged goods, record keeping, and loss prevention.
• Maintain a well-stocked sales floor and organized stockroom to company standards.
• Protect and secure store assets, including cash.
• Adhere to safety policies and ensure staff comply with procedures.
• Assist Store Manager in supervising, training, and developing Store Associates.
• Maintain a positive, safe, respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Keep the store clean, restocked, and presentable; handle bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
