Job summary

Shoe Carnival in Warsaw, Indiana is hiring an Assistant Store Manager (full-time). You will help oversee daily store operations, lead by example, and support the team in delivering a customer-first shopping experience. Qualifications

• At least 2 years of retail or customer service experience.
• Previous supervisory experience is a plus.
• Must obtain Key Carrier Certification within 60 days.
• Flexible availability including nights, weekends, and holidays.
• Must be able to act as a key holder (opening/closing).

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store as a key holder.
• Support the General Manager in reaching sales goals.
• Lead customer service efforts and resolve issues professionally.
• Train and guide associates on processes and standards.
• Delegate daily tasks and coordinate breaks.
• Assist with visual merchandising and store presentation.
• Perform register overrides, cash counts, and reconciliation.
• Follow loss prevention procedures.
