Goodwill Industries of Greater Cleveland & East Central Ohio is seeking a Team Lead/Shift Manager in Jackson Township, OH. The role oversees daily store operations, donation processing and pricing, and leads the store in the managers’ absence.

You will ensure accurate transactions, manage cash, and supervise the backroom warehouse while coaching staff. The position offers hourly pay of $16.30, full-time hours, and benefits through a mission-driven workplace focused on community service,

Formación

• Six or more months of retail sales experience preferred.
• Strong judgment, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Strong organization and time management.
• Knowledge of merchandise such as name brand, antiques, vintage, and collectibles.
• Experience with computers preferred.
• First aid and CPR certification required (can get certified after hire).
• High school diploma or GED preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Oversee daily store operations, including donation processing and pricing, and keep the sales floor attractive through effective merchandising
• Run all store operations in the absence of the store manager or assistant manager during your scheduled shift
• Process transactions accurately, manage cash operations including daily counts and over/short reconciliation, and handle customer disputes and exchanges
• Help manage the backroom warehouse, including loading and unloading donations with material handling equipment
• Coach and train team members, handle day-to-day employee relations, and partner with HR when needed
• Lead your team in meeting hourly and daily production goals
• Model and enforce safe working conditions and keep the building and property clean and organized
• Support the "You Changed a Life" campaign
• Plan the day, handle end-of-day tasks, and keep the facility secure

Qualifications

• Six or more months of retail sales experience preferred, or demonstrated potential for management
• Strong judgment, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Strong organization and time management
• Knowledge of merchandise such as name brand, antiques, vintage, and collectibles
• Experience with computers preferred
• First aid and CPR certification required (can get certified after hire)
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Valid driver's license and auto insurance
