Job summary

Aramark is seeking a Retail Sales Lead Worker for Yosemite National Park, CA. This role coordinates store operations, trains cashiers and utility workers, assigns daily tasks, and ensures superb guest service while maintaining a professional store environment.

The position emphasizes leadership by example, handling guest situations, and contributing to a smooth operation in the absence of management. Familiarity with POS software and MS Office is expected.

Qualifications

• Previous retail experience preferred.
• Mathematical skills are required to facilitate sales reports and audits.
• Must be of legal age to work with alcohol.
• Must provide proof of having earned a responsible alcohol training and certification program where applicable.
• Must be flexible, willing to work a rotational schedule with rotational days off that may include weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Perform all Sales Associate and General Utility Worker duties.
• Hold pre-shift meetings to ensure the day’s tasks and updates are communicated.
• Retail Leads should be knowledgeable about surrounding areas for guest assistance.
• Ensure all guests are greeted when they walk into the store.
• Train Sales Associates and General Utility Workers in their roles to develop a customer-service focused team.
• Ensure smooth operations in the manager’s absence and address customer relations effectively.
• Respond to customer complaints promptly and professionally.
• Keep an inventory of stock and note shortages.
• Order merchandise in appropriate quantities to meet demand.
• May complete monthly safety inspections and file incident reports.
• Maintain cleanliness and a pleasant store atmosphere at all times.
• Collect and compile daily cash and sales data using Excel and POS systems.
• Lead nightly close-out and balance cash with daily sales.
• May audit cashier documentation and assist with payroll coordination.
