DICK’S Sporting Goods is seeking a Lead to serve as the in-store expert for their department, under the guidance of the Store Manager. You will focus on delivering top-notch customer service and drive the performance of the team to meet daily goals.

The role emphasizes coaching, onboarding new teammates, and building a culture where both teammates and customers feel welcome and valued.

Qualifications

• Flexible availability - including nights, weekend and holidays.
• Prior retail sales experience (or customer-focused experience) preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, stoop, reach, push, pull and lift 15 to 35 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to work extended periods standing or walking (up to 4 hours).
• Ability to work at heights greater than 4 feet with ladder or platform.
• Ability to perform repetitive motions for short periods.

Responsibilities

• Lead in-store expert of their business/department with guidance from Store leadership.
• Deliver the best service to customers and provide direction to teammates.
• Build a people-first culture and connect with teammates to foster trust and respect.
• Plan 30-days out with guidance, align workforce to execute daily tasks and events.
• Leverage teammates to ensure brand standards and programs are executed daily.
