Job summary

Shoe Station in Minot, ND is seeking an Assistant Store Manager to help oversee daily store operations and lead the team. This full-time role features key holder responsibilities, hands-on leadership, and a focus on delivering a fun, customer-first environment.

The ideal candidate has strong communication, at least 2 years in retail or customer service, and supervisory experience is a plus. Must be able to obtain Key Carrier Certification within 60 days and handle flexible scheduling.

Responsibilities

• Open and close the store as a key holder.
• Support the General Manager in reaching sales goals.
• Lead customer service efforts and resolve issues professionally.
• Train and guide associates on processes and standards.
• Delegate daily tasks and coordinate breaks.
• Assist with visual merchandising and store presentation.
• Perform register overrides, safe/till counts, and cash reconciliation.
• Follow and promote loss prevention procedures.
